Full definition
Mortgage inscription is the official registration of the mortgage at the Legal Security office (formerly Mortgage Registry). It gives the bank a real right over the property as loan collateral. The total credit deed cost is approximately 2 to 2.5% of the borrowed amount (1% registration duty on the secured amount, 0.30% mortgage duty, mortgage office fee, notary fees incl. VAT and administrative costs).
