About Immolytics

Immolytics' mission is to democratize access to real estate data in Belgium. We transform official open data into clear analyses and practical tools, enabling everyone, buyer, investor, family or expat, to make informed decisions on the Belgian property market.

Our analyses are based on official data from Statbel (Belgian statistical office), published under Creative Commons CC BY 4.0 license. This data covers actual real estate transactions registered across all 581 Belgian municipalities, including median prices by property type (houses, apartments, villas) and by period (quarterly and yearly).

We believe in full transparency of our calculations. Every score is explained in our documentation. When data is insufficient (fewer than 5 transactions in a period), we clearly indicate this rather than showing a potentially misleading estimate. Our limitations are documented.

Our automated data pipeline retrieves new Statbel statistics with each quarterly publication. Median prices, quality of life scores and rankings are automatically recalculated. This process ensures our analyses always reflect the most recent available data.
