Hidden defect
Non-visible defect at the time of sale rendering the property unfit for its intended use or diminishing its use.
Full definition
A hidden defect is a serious defect that existed before the sale but was not visible during viewing. Under Belgian law, the buyer can request sale annulment or price reduction if the defect is proven. The exclusion clause does not protect a seller acting in bad faith.
