Full definition
Energy renovation encompasses all works aimed at reducing a building's energy consumption: insulation (roof, walls, floors, window frames), replacement of the heating system, installation of mechanical ventilation, solar panels, heat pump. In Belgium, regions impose progressive obligations: in Flanders, minimum EPC label C by 2030; in Wallonia, minimum label D. Grants and tax benefits exist in each region to encourage these works.
